Soccer at Central

Mission

Through participating in the soccer program, it is our hope that each athlete involved has an experience that encourages and challenges them to pursue a deeper relationship with Christ while striving to achieve excellence on and off the field. In addition, we hope students use this opportunity to discover, develop, and learn how to use their God-given gifts for His glory. Students will be encouraged to use teamwork, competition, and dedication to grow together as a group and grow in skills that will help them later on in life. Ultimately, it is our hope that students leave our program feeling more prepared for their next steps in life wherever God will have each one serve Him next.

High School Soccer

Our Soccer teams compete during the fall athletics season, with practices beginning in mid-August and playoffs beginning mid-October. Depending on participation numbers, Central offers students the opportunity to compete at the Varsity, JV, and Middle School levels. Our soccer program participates in the Granite Ridge Conference, and a typical Varsity/JV season consists of 12-15 regular season games.

Transportation is provided to all away events, and uniforms are provided to all athletes, with the exception of socks and cleats, and shin guards (required). Blue and white soccer socks are available for purchase at school. Players are required to wear coordinating colors with home and away uniforms.

Middle School Soccer

Middle School Soccer competes during the fall athletics season, with practices beginning on the first day of school, or as otherwise specified by the coaches. A typical middle school season includes 6-8 games during the months of September and October.

Transportation is not provided for away events; however school does assist in organizing parent-provided transportation. Uniforms are provided, with the exception of soccer socks cleats, and shin guards (required). Blue and white soccer socks are available for purchase at school. Players are expected to wear coordinating colors with home and away uniforms.
