Boys Basketball at Central

Mission

To honor God, our team, and our school through skill building and competition. Our athletes are challenged to raise their level of both athletic and character development through teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship. Our goal is that the athletes will seek to strive for integrity as they practice with their teammates, compete against their opponents, and demonstrate their talents and abilities before the community and before the Lord.

High School Basketball

Our Boys Basketball teams compete during the winter athletics season, with practices beginning in mid-November and playoffs beginning in early March.  Depending on participation numbers, Central offers students the opportunity to compete at the Varsity, JV, C Team, and Middle School levels.  Our basketball program participates in the Camden Conference, and a typical Varsity/JV season consists of 20-25 regular season games, and a holiday tournament.

Transportation is provided to all away events, and uniforms & practice jerseys are provided to all athletes, with the exception of socks and shoes.

Middle School Basketball

The Middle School Boys compete during the winter athletics season, with practices beginning at the end of October. A typical middle school season includes 8-10 games during November and December, with the possibility of an additional tournament.

Transportation is not provided for away events; however school does assist in organizing parent-provided transportation. Game and practice jerseys are provided. Players are expected to provide black basketball shorts, socks and shoes.
