Share about your relationship with Christ
I was born into a family who loved Christ, so I've only known life with Jesus. This is something I consider to be a great blessing! That being said, head knowledge and heart knowledge of Jesus are two very different things. I believe my personal relationship with Christ, has developed and grown throughout my life. I would consider the times of the most growth, to be the times where I was going through trials. These are the times I'm reminded that I need Him the most.  

How is Jesus taught in your classroom?
My aspiration is to teach Jesus in all areas of my classroom.  I have a huge advantage in this area, because kindergarteners are naturally people of wonder!  Therefore, it is just a natural process in a school where part of our mission is to teach children about Jesus, to ask "How do we see Jesus in ___________?"  

For example, "How did that character in our book show Jesus to others in the story?", or in one of our many SEL lessons taught in the younger grades, posing a question  such as, "From what we have learned about Jesus, how do you think He would have handled the situation that was just talked about?".  

I think the one of the goals of Christian educators is to help our students understand that we are bringing everything else we learn into God's world, not the other way around.  God is already there, because it is His...He created it all!
