I really enjoy spending time with family, traveling, going on bike rides, and experiencing God's handiwork through His beautiful creation.   

Share about your relationship with Christ
I came to know Jesus at a very young age. I was blessed to grow up surrounded by family members who know Jesus personally as their Savior and that directly impacted my faith.  I was about 9 or 10 years old when my faith started to become my own. Throughout years of growth and various experiences, my faith has strengthened which has shaped me into the believer I am today. 

How is Jesus taught in your classroom?
It is such a blessing to be able to incorporate Jesus within everything I do as a teacher here at CMCS. Teaching Jesus does not only come out during devotion time or during our Bible lessons but is the backbone of every subject I teach.  In science, we learn about how God created plants with such careful detail so that they can help provide us life here on earth. We also learn that God makes each part of our bodies to work together to glorify Him. During the year in Social Studies, we learn about all the regions of the world and how God made them all different and unique for a reason. I believe when Jesus is at the center of my teaching my classroom culture is kind, loving, and God-honoring.  

Within my classroom, it is my hope that we will embrace life and learning as a journey to Know, Love, and Serve God as we grow in faith.
