Share about your relationship with Christ
"The Lord is my Rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” (Psalm 18:2) This has always been one of my favorite verses because I feel that, just like the psalmist, it describes my relationship with the Lord. God always displays all of the attributes listed in this psalm (plus many more!) at all times, but I have come to realize that there are times in my life where He has taken on more of a specific role. In times of hardship, God has been my refuge and comforter. Some days He takes more of the role of a friend who walks beside me or the shield protecting me from the temptations of the world. Lately, I especially see God as my deliverer, my Savior, and the Rock who is always there for me.

How is Jesus taught in your classroom?
Jesus is taught in our 1st grade classroom all day long!  We have devotions, prayer time, and Bible class every day. We talk about God's creation in science, math, and social studies.  Most importantly, we talk about various attributes of God and try to imitate Jesus in how we treat our classmates and spend our time in the classroom.
