I teach Middle School English Language Arts and 6th Bible.

For fun, I like to hike, camp, go to the zoo, and go fishing if I am given the opportunity!

Share about your relationship with Christ
Christ is my lens for life. I do my best to focus my actions, thoughts, words, and deeds to glorify Him. Additionally, I value getting to worship with a community of believers in church or in my everyday life. Christ is the foundation that enables me to do everything I do.

How is Jesus taught in your classroom?
Jesus is taught in my classroom through the direct study of his word in 6th grade Bible. In every aspect of my teaching, I relate the lesson to Christ. Maybe it is a value in a story that is read that is Christ-like, or maybe an activity that focuses on working together. I like to find ways to make teaching effective for learning the subject matter and pointed to Christ in application.
